Brenntag to take over Albion Chemicals Group Ltd
Brenntag, global leader in the distribution of chemicals, announces the acquisition of UK’s and Ireland’s chemical distributor Albion Chemicals Group Ltd., Leeds. With the transaction Brenntag achieves a leading position in this important European market and provides customers and suppliers access to an even stronger network in the growing market for chemicals distribution.
With full geographic coverage in the UK and Ireland, Albion Chemicals Group Ltd. operates as distributor of inorganic liquids, solids, solvents and specialty chemicals. The company achieved with more than 700 employees at 20 sites sales of 276 million Euros in fiscal 2005.
