Brenntag acquires Canadian distributor Wil-Chem
Effective September 8, 2006, Brenntag, the global leader in the growth market for the distribution of chemicals, has acquired Wil-Chem Specialty Chemicals, Inc., Alberta, Canada.
Founded in 1981, Wil-Chem evolved into a highly successful organization focused on the Oil and Gas Production Industry. This acquisition provides strategic importance to Brenntag’s presence in the expanding production chemicals sector as well as providing a line of highly effective formulations to complement Brenntag’s current offerings.
